Oatland's Outdoor History Camp

Oatlands will be offering an Outdoor History Camp for children ages 8-12. Come learn about 19th century life through crafts, games and cooking! The Camp day starts at 9:30am and goes to 1pm, and there are four days to choose from: July 22nd, August 5th or August 19th. Camp costs $30 per child. Lansdowne Summer Concert Series

Lansdowne Resort's 2009 concert series, the "Sounds of Summer" offers a variety of music genres including jazz, country, salsa, oldies, Zydeco and contemporary music. The free outdoor concert series take place every Friday night. Performances start at 7:15 and run to 10 pm on the outdoor terraces. A variety of fresh grilled foods, Assorted beverages and Virginia wines are available for purchase throughout the evening. Click here to view the concert line-up.

Raspberry Golf Academy offering summer camp discounts

From the Raspberry Falls Golf Academy July 2009 Newsletter:

Summer is here and there are still some openings for the best Junior Golf Program in the area which runs weekly at both of our locations (Old Hickory and Raspberry Falls).

Now through July 19th we are offering a 20% discount on all summer camps offered this summer. These camps are taught by PGA Professionals and your child will get the instruction they need to improve their game. Our camps are offered to kids aged 8-17 and run every week this summer from Monday - Thursday 9am - 12:30pm. Kids will receive a CD with their swing on it and a goodie bag they will treasure including a Raspberry Golf Academy shirt, hat and more.

Each child will be assessed at the beginning and end of each camp to show improvement. Space is limited - Register TODAY by clicking here. For those of you with kids age 5-7 in the Leesburg area, we have also partnered with Total Golf Adventures to provide care for the little ones at our Raspberry Falls location.
